“I would introduce free transport. But I am also thinking about setting up a Limoges Accession Pass which would be an interest-free loan for first-time property buyers. Linked to income, it would be added to the bank loan and the zero-interest loan. Limoges continues to lose residents to other towns in the metropolitan area because it is less attractive in terms of price. If we want to reverse the trend, providing financial assistance could prove appropriate. A city like Toulouse has set up such a system. This is a personal proposal that I am making here and which has not been debated within the opposition group. »
Christelle Merlier (PS): “A secure space for women”
“I was marked by yet another news item concerning feminicides which took place… on January 1, 2025. I would like to create a secure space open 7 days a week and 24 hours a day for women and/or children victims of violence intra-family. It would be both an emergency reception center with temporary accommodation and a system to support and monitor victims in their efforts in partnership with professionals (police officers, psychologists, social workers, health personnel, lawyers, etc.) and associations engaged in this field. This model already exists in certain cities and deserves to be tested in Limoges. »
