For Niels Destadsbader, 2024 was a year to quickly forget. In addition to the drama of a burned loft, the singer and presenter also had to face numerous criticisms. His move from VTM to VRT proved to be cause for massive criticism, which made him feel like the butt of jokes on several occasions.

However, Niels emphasizes that he has no hard feelings. “I don’t blame Tom,” he explains. “I’m not that hateful. We never had anything, so I’m sure it wasn’t a personal intention. It was just an easy joke because everyone was already busy.
