FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta celebrated with a playful gesture upon learning that the Consejo Superior de Deportes (CSD) had approved an urgent preventive measure requested by the club for players Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor, allowing them provisional registration until the final resolution of the appeal.
The moment was captured by Catalan public broadcaster TV3, showing Laporta hugging his advisor Enric Masip with a smile, followed by an exuberant gesture aimed at the sky, away from the camera.
This scene took place in the King Abdullah Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, just minutes before kickoff of the Supercopa de España semi-final between FC Barcelona and Athletic Club.
On Wednesday, the CSD suspended the agreement reached by the Monitoring Commission of the RFEF-LaLiga Cooperation Agreement on January 4, which had canceled the sports licenses of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor, thus maintaining their validity until the current appeal is finally resolved.
