VIDEO. Operation Yellow Pieces: “Something that gets into your head a little bit”… Discover “Les P’tits soleils”, the anthem for a good cause chaired by Brigitte Macron

The Yellow Coins campaign, an operation which raises funds each year for the benefit of the Hospital Foundation for Sick Children, was launched this Wednesday, January 8.

On this occasion, Brigitte Macron, who chairs the operation, announced, this Wednesday on the 1 p.m. set of TF1, the broadcast, on all streaming platforms, of an anthem from the Pieces Jaunes, “Les P’tits soleils “.

Accompanied by Didier Deschamps who took the opportunity to announce his upcoming departure from the Blues, the First Lady presented this collective of 28 artists of the new generation who put their voices to this anthem.

This is the first time since the launch of the Yellow Pieces in 1989 that the operation has been presented in song.

Lyricists accustomed to hits

A song written by lyricists accustomed to successes that have become essentials of French song such as Lionel Florence and Patrice Guirao who have several flagship musicals to their credits (The Ten Commandments, The Sun King, Cleopatra and Robin des Bois) but also John Mamann who collaborated with Johnny Hallyday but also Grand Corps Malade, Gims, Vitaa, Élisa Tovati, etc.

“When I saw the lyrics and heard the music, I realized that we didn’t have an anthem. You’ll see, with all these young people performing it, we want to resume. It’s something that gets into your head a little,” Brigitte Macron said this Wednesday on TF1.

And among the performers of the new generation, we find in particular Héléna, Axel Marbeuf and Julien Lieb, former candidates of Star Academy 2023, Linh and Vernis Rouge, former candidates of The Voice, but also Mentissa, Joseph Kamel, Nuit Incolore, Styleto or the YouTuber Michou.

Started on January 8, the operation will also be available in small piggy banks available in more than 7,000 post offices in France until February 8.
