Barely time to recover from the previous day’s match when Genève-Servette takes the road to Zug. The Eagles face the EVZ this evening at the Bossard Arena from 7:45 p.m. 6th in the ranking, the Zougois are chased by no less than six teams! Including Garnet.
A famous six-point match awaits the Eagles this evening at Bossard Arena. Against Zug, the players of the Treille/Franzén duo will have to find a way to score goals. Each defeat is costly and takes the GSHC away from the Top 6 much more than a victory brings it closer. Last night, the Genevans lost 3-2 against Berne while they produced 4.4 xG. The Bears goalkeeper made important saves at the right time but the Garnets mainly squandered their opportunities. The mission is to win the match but above all to find a solution in front of the opposing goals.
Zug driven out
The Zougois have been in sixth place for several weeks and are feeling the pressure from the teams just behind who are eyeing their ranking. Between Langnau and Ambrì-Piotta there are six teams which are between 2 and 8 points behind the Central Swiss team. The slightest misstep and Zug finds itself in Play-in. They are not going to give in and at home they are formidable.
They can count on two very effective parade lines, made up of TopScorer Martschini, foreigners Kovar and Vozenilek then Hofmann accompanied by Olofsson and Wingerli. Then they have a line of Swiss internationals with Künzle, Senteler and Simion. Zug has a great team and it will take a great GSHC to come back with a victory for Central Switzerland.
This match between Genève-Servette and Zug will be played at the Bossard Arena this Wednesday from 7:45 p.m. The match can be followed live and in full on MySports and Radio Lac (91.8)!
