“Before, he spoke much more easily. Now he doesn’t say it.” Emmanuel Macron is sometimes “bruised” par “what he hears”while he “deserved” the “respect”declared his wife Brigitte Macron in an interview broadcast by TF1 on Wednesday January 8.

During this interview carried out on the occasion of the annual launch of the “Yellow Coins” operation, the wife of the Head of State was asked if Emmanuel Macron had changed. “Change, no. Let’s say that sometimes what he hears hurts him. It’s very difficult. But he doesn’t say it. He keeps it to himself. Before, he spoke much more easily. Now he doesn’t say it. not. And I understand that because if there is one thing that Emmanuel deserves, it is respect.said Brigitte Macron to the 1 p.m. newspaper.

What about the dissolution of the National Assembly, on which the president outlined a mea culpa during his New Year’s greetings? “It’s not up to me to say what I think, I’ve never said it, I’ll never say it”insisted his wife. “I think that it is History which will ultimately give the meaning of this dissolution, whether it should be done or not done (…) We need to see what happens next.”replied Brigitte Macron. However, she added that she thought that the dissolution was part of the “factors” d’“anxiety” which complicate the lives of the French, whom she says she feels “anxious” et “a little bit lost”. “They need meaning” car “everyday life is very difficult”estimated Brigitte Macron.

Asked to say whether the head of state will be able to complete his mandate, she in turn brushed aside any hypothesis of resignation. “He said that he was going to the end because that was the mission that the French had given him. And he cares so much about the French (…). He cares about absolutely everything and he puts all his intelligence, all his heart in the service of the French”she assured.
