Brigitte Macron: her incredible commitment to the Yellow Pieces

If Bernadette Chirac was the essential figure of the Yellow Pieces for a quarter of a century, she finally decided to pass the baton to Brigitte Macron because of health problems which no longer allowed her to keep her commitment. The First Lady has been the president of the Fondation Hôpitaux de -Hôpitaux de since 2019 and the new representative of the operation since 2020.

For five years now, Brigitte Macron has been very committed to this cause and hopes to fulfill her duty with “as much heart and professionalism” as Bernadette Chirac, as she confided on the set of 12 shots of noon in 2024. Emmanuel Macron’s wife also spoke on the set about her work on the ground working closely with families. “When we go to hospitals, we see the parents’ houses, the space that thanks to her the families were able to take there (…) Thank you Madam. I will try to do like you and take on new challenges”she concluded.
