So what equipment and works benefit from VAT reduced to 5.5%?
The list includes in particular insulation equipment, ventilation equipment and heating systems using a renewable energy source, but also other equipment, in particular work inseparably linked to energy renovation work.
This list also includes summer comfort work : mobile solar protections and fixed ceiling-mounted air fans are thus eligible for VAT at 5.5%.
This list updated by the government also confirms that thermostats and other heating control devices or domestic hot water benefit from this reduced VAT rate.
???? Please note: Although important in energy renovation, the installation of photovoltaic panels remains for the moment excluded from VAT at 5.5%.
