Following the heavy rain in the morning, this Wednesday, January 8, 2025, the municipality of Saffré (Loire-Atlantique) launches a call for vigilance following floods observed.
Loire-Atlantique: a river in flood in Saffré
This is in particular the Isac river which is in flood. “For the situation at 12:15 p.m., the Isac level is at 25.80 NGF with a strong upward trend. Environ 20mm of rain have been recorded since the beginning of this night,” specifies the city hall.
A “significant reaction of the Isaac and the rivers” is therefore “in progress”.
Roads are flooded
Several roads of the municipality are currently flooded. “The technical services ensure the implementation of the signage adequate. »
The episode will continue until next night with up to 20mm expected.
