Terrible fires are underway on the California side. Thousands of hectares were devastated by the flames. The city of Los Angeles is particularly affected. Many homes had to be evacuated. Message from Tom Hanks’ son
Chet Hanks, son of Tom Hanks, currently lives in Nashvillein Tennessee. He announced last August that he wanted to leave Hollywood. However, he remains very attached to the place where he grew up. The Pacific Palisade neighborhood is unfortunately one of the areas affected by the fire. Just like cities like Malibu or Calabasas. The situation is not about to improve, according to the latest information. The Canadairs watered the blaze from the sky throughout the afternoon, but all the planes are now grounded due to deteriorating winds and visibility.
« The neighborhood I grew up in is burning. Pray for Palisades »wrote Tom Hanks’ son on his Instagram account. He attached the “prayer” emoji to this message. His parents purchased a sprawling $26 million mansion in Pacific Palisades in 2010. It is not yet known whether the house was affected by the blaze. Still, concern remains among members of Tom Hanks’ family who could indeed see a whole part of their life go up in smoke.
Many celebrities affected
In Pacific Palisades several houses have already been reduced to ruins. It is a small enclave where many celebrities live. In addition to Tom Hanks, you can find stars like Ben Affleck, Miles Teller and his model wife Keleigh Sperry or even Jhene Aiko to name a few. Two other cities were particularly affected. These are Calabasas and Pasadena which are home to other celebrities, like the Kardashians.
Reality TV star Spencer Pratt and his wife Heidi Montage tragically lost their home due to the massive fire. Firefighters continue to battle the flames in this upscale neighborhood. Spencer Pratt, aged 41, was photographed as he watched the fire progress rapidly towards his house. Sources tell TMZ their home has was completely destroyed after catching fire on Tuesday.
