The episode of precipitation that began this weekend continued until Tuesday morning. The flood alert concerning the levels of the Moselle ended this Tuesday midday, announced the Water Management Administration. In its bulletin published at 7 a.m. this Tuesday, Meteolux placed the south of the country on yellow alert until 4 p.m.
The situation on other rivers, such as the Alzette or the Sûre, had already returned to normal.
As a reminder, the flood forecast service entered orange alert level early Sunday afternoon. Local flooding which could lead to flooding and damage was feared. The Luxembourg authorities therefore invited the population to be vigilant.
