At just 29 years old, American influencer and TikToker Lorenzo Buffa, better known as Cabinfruit, has died. Although no official cause of death has been confirmed, the content creator appears to have committed suicide on Sunday, January 5, after leaving a long farewell message to his community on Instagram.
“I’m back with Myles. Together again. I hope so. I’m sorry to everyone,” he explains, referring to his dog Myles, who died in 2023.
“He isolated me, broke me”
In his message, the content creator confirms that he suffers from mental health problems due to his very conflictual and toxic relationship with his ex-boyfriend. “My ex Ryan reduced me to nothing and I tried to get out of it, but I couldn’t,” he relates, referring to “cruel treatment” and “abusive” love.
According to him, this relationship left him feeling trapped and broken over the years. “I lost friends because I was unstable (…) and after a while all I was left with was the monster that had broken me for 5 years. I was trapped in the syndrome from Stockholm, feeding me mouthfuls of hope and love that were rare.”
“He isolated me, broke me and lied to me about everything,” Cabinfruit continues. “I dealt with his rage, alone, for years, mostly in silence. But the few people who could have helped me and who knew how serious what was happening were turned my back on me. back, so I stopped reaching out to anyone.”

“I’m sorry to disappoint everyone here, I’m really sorry. Ryan saw me cry and break me and he knew he was breaking me (…) And the worst part is that I still love a part of him and I can’t hate him. That’s why I couldn’t stand him.”
