It was the highlight of his five evenings at the Lotto Arena, and also a first: in December, Xander De Rycke will move with Keep it under study at the Sports Palace. This will be the tenth and final edition of its end-of-year conference on Flemish cinema and television. “It started almost ten years ago as a sort of swan song of my career,” says De Rycke. “The public was done with my stupidity and as a final trump card, I threw this lecture on the table.”

The result is known: Keep it under study has become an annual event and has grown from cafes and theaters to a total of nine sold-out Lotto Arenas. To end in style, De Rycke creates an additional show, with new material and returns to the best jokes from previous editions. Who had tickets for HHVB 2024 could participate in the Sportpaleis pre-sale on December 27, 2025.

It proved to be an immediate success on Monday, which is why De Rycke announced a second date. “Holy shit“In a few hours, you (almost) sold a Sportpaleis,” says the comedian, who thanks his loyal fans. “I am not only grateful, but also completely in shock. We opted for a Sportpaleis and dreamed of two. Now we no longer dream. There will be a second show at Sportpaleis on December 28, 2025.”

Ticket sales are also already open exclusively for fans, via this link. The general sale begins on Thursday, January 9 at 10 a.m. “Let’s cut a hole in the roof of this cabin at the end of this year, so Clouseau can stand in the rain,” De Rycke added. (dvg, eadp)
