Netanyahu’s office denies existence of Hamas list of hostages to be released

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has refuted recent claims that a list of Israeli hostages to be released was transmitted by Hamas, according to the Haaretz.

As part of the negotiations that recently resumed in Doha with a view to concluding a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian movement announced earlier this Sunday that it would have approved the release of a list of 34 people still held hostage in the Palestinian enclave.

An official of the Palestinian movement, who spoke on condition of anonymity, also reminded Reuters that any agreement was subject to the conclusion of an agreement on the Israeli withdrawal from the Palestinian enclave and a permanent ceasefire, adding that the Palestinian movement had seen “no progress” on these two points.
