Liverpool do not admit defeat in the Alexander-Arnold file

While Trent Alexander-Arnold ends his contract next June and could leave free during the next summer transfer window, Liverpool do not intend to lose their player so easily.

Alexander-Arnold finds himself at a crossroads during the next two transfer windows. With a contract ending in a few months, it’s up to him to decide if he wants to take his first experience outside of his country and hometown. This choice is not easy, far from it. Alexander-Arnold was trained in Liverpool and is a city boy.

On the other hand, he knows that if he renews his contract with the Reds, the chances of him experiencing another major championship before the end of his career would be reduced. For their part, Liverpool intend to do everything to keep their full-back and are putting all the chances on their side to this end.

Mercato: Liverpool offers a golden bridge to Alexander-Arnold

According to The Mirror, the Merseyside club would offer him a 5-year contract with a salary of 93 million euros gross for the entire contract, respectively, 18.6 million annually. The Three Lions player would therefore become one of the highest paid players in the Reds squad, behind Mohamed Salah but ahead of Van Dijk.

According to AS, Real Madrid would offer him a similar salary with an additional signing bonus. The choice of Alexander-Arnold will therefore probably not be made on the financial aspect.
