Fofana made his debut with Rennes
Leaving for Al-Nassr in the summer of 2023, the Ivorian international started the season on loan at Al-Ettifaq, with whom he played 15 matches. Looking for playing time since December 7, Fofana therefore chose to return to France, but this time in Rennes, 12th in Ligue 1.
