If you are planning a TGV trip between January 13 and March 31, wait until January 7 and 8 to buy your tickets. In fact, Ouigo is freezing its prices for this specific period, with discounted tickets: less than 19 euroswhatever your departure and arrival stations among the sixty served by the famous pink and blue trains. The child ticket will be offered at a price of 5 euros. A boon for families planning to travel between these dates.
But to take advantage of these very low prices, the “firing window” will be reduced: two days only, January 7 and 8, dates on which you will need to connect to the Ouigo website or application to be able to benefit from the offer. If you are unsure, please note that the Ouigoflex option will allow you to exchange your tickets as many times as you want, free of charge. For children, the option is free. 300,000 tickets will be available during this operation.

Trains modernized in 2025
Those who get their hands on these discounted tickets may be among the first travelers to discover the renovated trains Ouigo trains. Indeed, the interior is the subject of a makeover announced this month, with less rigid seatsmore electrical outlets, the removal of benches or even the installation of a conviviality space in the middle of each oar. The investment for SNCF is estimated at several hundred million euros but aims to increase the capacity of Ouigo trains and ultimately double the number of tickets sold by 2030.
