The JSK refuses this to Benchikha: Medane speaks

Algeria
The management of the Jeunesse Sportive de Kabylie (JSK) recently made a firm decision by refusing the resignation of coach Abdelhak Benchikha. This decision, which reflects the club’s desire to maintain stability at the head of the team, was accompanied by statements from the sporting director, Hakim Medane, emphasizing the importance of this continuity.

A decisive meeting with Benchikha

Hakim Medane, emblematic figure and sporting director of JSK, said that the club will hold a meeting with coach Abdelhak Benchikha to try to convince him to stay. “We will meet with coach Abdelhak Benchikha and we will try to persuade him to stay at the head of the team,” he said. This statement clearly shows management’s desire to keep Benchikha despite the difficulties encountered during the season.

Medane underlined the importance of stability within the technical management: “It is impossible to change coaches every six months. We have to evaluate the work at the end of the season.” This approach highlights the need to give the technical team time to build a coherent and lasting sporting project, a philosophy that Medane seems to want to establish sustainably within the JSK.

Medane’s personal commitment

In a statement marked by great sincerity, Hakim Medane also made a personal commitment: “If my results are negative at the end of the season, I am ready to leave my functions.” This statement illustrates the sense of responsibility of the sports director, who does not shy away from criticism and is ready to draw the necessary conclusions in the event of failure.

A season under high tension

JSK’s current season has not been easy, with fluctuating performances which have put pressure on the technical staff and management. Despite this, management’s decision to refuse Benchikha’s resignation shows a desire to rely on continuity to redress the situation. Medane’s statements reflect a long-term vision, where patience and overall evaluation at the end of the season are prioritized over hasty decisions.

A challenge to take up

For JSK, the objective now is to focus on the challenges ahead and finish the season in a positive manner. With Benchikha still at the helm, supported by a management ready to play the stability card, the club hopes to return to performances worthy of its prestigious past.

Hakim Medane, by clearly displaying his position and his commitment, sends a strong signal to the entire club and to the supporters. The road is still long, but the determination of management and technical staff could well be the key to overcoming obstacles and achieving the objectives set at the start of the season.
