La Liga and the RFEF have finally made their decision in the matter of the registrations of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor at FC Barcelona… And it is not in favor of Barça!
The information comes from El Chiringuito journalist Juanfe Sanz and it’s a new little bomb that explodes in the face of FC Barcelona. While the agreement with La Liga seemed on track for the registrations of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor and the RFEF seemed to agree with the decision of the other body to decide on the last point of regulation which blocked their licenses, the journalist affirms that the authorities finally decided to refuse Barça the right to re-register Olmo and Victor despite the return to “1:1” in relation to Spanish financial fair play.
Barça before the Superior Sports Council on Tuesday
A decision – motivated by article 141.5 of the RFEF which stipulates that a player could not be registered twice by the same club during the season – which has since been made official.
As revealed jointly by the Catalan radio stations Cadena COPE and RAC1, FC Barcelona plans to file a request for a precautionary measure with the Superior Sports Council (CSD) from next Tuesday in order to be able to provisionally align its two players while awaiting other decisions. Sure that justice will prove him right, Barça will also go to court to denounce this refusal. While the elections will take place in less than a year at the head of the club, Joan Laporta is playing a very big role in this crisis…
EDIT (2:02 p.m.): La Liga and the RFEF formalized their refusal a few minutes ago.
