Before the permanent closure of the premises, Fnac des Champs-Élysées organized ten days of large clearance sales this Friday, January 3 to liquidate its stocks. Faced with the crowds, the store closed its doors.

Several hundred meters of tail. A few days before its final closure, the Fnac store on the Champs-Élysées was to organize a major clearance sale this Friday, January 3, and until January 12. The brand's stated objective was to offer “exclusive offers” during the liquidation of 74 avenue des Champs-Elysées. But the success was greater than expected.

The store is closing

Since the beginning of the morning, the most beautiful avenue in the world was filled with people, overwhelmed by the event. On social networks, images of queues of potential customers gathered in front of the lowered store doors are shared en masse.

Unable to enter, the management has decided to close its doors until further notice due to the influx and crowd movements having disrupted the sale. “For the safety of property and people, the store will remain closed all day. It will be open Monday. Please disperse,” shouted a manager in front of a queue that stretched nearly 200 meters, to the boos of disappointed customers.
