We all remember it, Untouchables had been an incredible success. To reward him for his performance, Omar Sy won the César for best actor in 2012. His notoriety then exploded and the actor chose to leave France to settle in the United States with his wife Hélène and their children.
Omar Sy recently released his autobiography, entitled Come on, let’s talkco-written with journalist Elsa Vigoureux. He tells there many anecdotes on his career but also on his private life, his daily life, the values he wishes to teach his children. The book also offers a glimpse of his home, in Los Angeles.
“It feels like a small living museum”
In this Californian house, a room greatly surprised Elsa Vigoureux. And for good reason since Omar Sy’s office, located to the left of the main corridor, something to surprise. Very bright, this space is both a workplace and an art gallery. “It feels like a small living museum”writes Elsa Vigoureux in the book.
In the center of the room, those who saw the series Lupin would have immediately recognized the chair Nemo. Behind him, there are black shelves which contain novels by Maurice Leblanc, the creator of Arsène Lupin. Unusual objects also decorate the room like the golden plaque on the Doctor Knock or the knife of Bakary.

This office therefore reflects the passion of Omar Sy for the cinemabut that’s not all since we also find references to football. On a black brick wall, two jerseys are framed: Pelé’s, signed by the Brazilian legend itself, and that of the French team, accompanied by a ticket for the France-Croatia final in 2018.
Above the fireplace, six bottles of Coca-Cola glass are installed. These are personalized with the first names of each member of the family. Finally, the actor installed black and white photos of Hélène, his partner, and their children.
