Free since this summer, the former PSG goalkeeper has reportedly found a new club. And the choice of destination is surprising!
The wait lasted several months for Keylor Navas, who has found himself without a club since the end of his contract with PSG last summer. Associated with various teams, notably in MLS with San Diego FC or Inter Miami, in Italy with Monza, or even with Grêmio in Brazil, the Costa Rican goalkeeper seemed to have difficulty finding the right fit.
Towards a new adventure for Keylor Navas
According to the information reported by TNT Sports Brazilthe former Real Madrid goalkeeper is preparing to relaunch his career in a new environment, notably at the Chilean club Colo-Colo. The Santiago giant was actively looking for a replacement for its holder, Brayan Cortés, who left recently, and would have set its sights on the 38-year-old goalkeeper.
This transfer to South America seemed improbable just a few weeks ago. However, at the beginning of December, Aníbal Mosa, leader of Colo-Colo, confirmed that the interest in the Costa Rican was real. The negotiations, which have accelerated recently, would have finally made it possible to reach an agreement. At 38, Navas could begin a new adventure full of challenges and bring his high-level experience to the Chilean club.
