What do you expect for 2025? What are the areas where you can still improve?
“The objectives in 2025 are clearly the same than those present since my arrival, three and a half years ago: Inter is a Great Team and we must always aim for the maximum, by winning as many matches as possible, as many trophies as possible, starting with the Super Cup which is the closest in-game trophy to win.
“In respect to last year, it will be much more difficult this timebut we will try to do the maximum.”
The two most in-form teams in Serie A face off: What message can the Super Cup send to the championship?
“Two teams who have completed a very great journey face each otherAtalanta’s greatest success, even beyond the Europa League, is no longer being considered a surprisegiven its very great results in Serie A and in Champions League.
“For us, it will be, as always, of a difficult meeting and it will take a very great Inter to oppose an opponent who is in good shape and who has obtained very great results.”

How long does it take for each cog to be in its place and for everything to work optimally?
“There are so many things that have to go rightwe are in a very good period, but we also know that danger awaits us around the corner : We have some numerical difficulties in defense, I hope to have Acerbi and Pavard back by mid-January. We also left at home By Gennaro: The others have trained as well as possible, I will try to line up a competitive training.”

Given your previous results against Atalanta, do you expect any changes from them?
“Old results do not go up on the field and do not bring you new points: This year, we met during the summer transfer window session which was still open and they had a few defections : Since then, they have had an excellent three and a half months.”
