Didier Lamkel Zé finds himself without a club after his eventful adventure in the Turkish second division. It could well be that he is already returning to Belgium.
Whether in Antwerp or Kortrijk, Didier Lamkel Zé left no one indifferent. In Türkiye, the Cameroonian striker proved equally elusive with two contract terminations in four months. He is therefore currently without a club after the brutal end of his adventure at Fatih Karagümrükin the second division.
Immediately after the news, rumors circulated, citing him at other Turkish clubs, but also at Ludogorets. While a return to Belgium seemed further away than ever, new information could shake things up.
An asset in the fight for maintenance?
According to Het Belang van Limburg, Lamkel Zé would have been offered to Sint-Truiden. Despite Adriano Bertaccini’s goals, the Canaries suffer from their ineffectiveness in the opponent’s box and are firmly stuck in Playdowns.
-It remains to be seen whether the fitness of Didier Lamkel Ze would be enough to get them out of this mess. The former enfant terrible of Antwerp has scored three goals and provided three assists this season but did not particularly stand out in Metz last year. Management has not yet made its decision.
This could in any case allow the player to work with a coach who seems made for him: throughout his career, Felice Mazzu has always granted a lot of latitude to these players, as long as they returned it to him on the pitch.
