The executives and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs appointed Vietnamese ambassadors in 2024 were officially invested with their functions by the President of the Republic Luong Cuong, during a ceremony held on January 2 in Hanoi. Among them, among others, Deputy Foreign Ministers Nguyên Minh Hang and Pham Thanh Binh.

The awarding of the title of ambassador as well as other diplomatic titles contributed to the gradual normalization of Vietnamese diplomatic personnel, in accordance with international law and practices, and at the same time demonstrated the recognition of the Party and the State for their contributions to the work of national construction and defense in terms of external affairs in particular.
Congratulating them on being officially sworn into office, President Luong Cuong asked them to continue to promote their roles and actively contribute to common foreign affairs tasks in 2025 and subsequent years, thereby contributing to consolidating a favorable international situation , to place Vietnam in the dynamics of the contemporary world, to promote its national interests and to respond to the challenges of building and defending the Homeland.
