On TikTok, Zazou Youcef, an influencer followed by more than 400,000 subscribers, calls on camera to commit violence against anyone who opposes the Algerian regime in . Some of his videos, the most violent, reported numerous times, were removed from his account. His TikTok account was deleted on January 2, several days after the first reports.

Incitements to violence

« Shoot them, we'll bury them with the Jews. » In the first video, unearthed by the account Mimicking shots with his hands, he declares in Arabic (the translation was verified by Le FigaroEditor’s note): “ We're going to make you like in the 1990s. We're going to shoot you […] Do you want to go out on January 1st? Shoot them, we have to make the powder speak. President Tebboune (the current Algerian president, Editor's note), shoot them, they want chaos “. And he adds in a virulent tone: “ Those who go out to , we will take care of them. And those who go out to Algeria, shoot them too. They are paid by France, the country in which I live. »

In a second video extract, this time found by Chawki Benzehra, an Algerian activist who took refuge in France, the man repeats his remarks and this time mimes a slitting of the throat. “ We are at war, at the slightest misstep we will screw your mothers » declares the influencer. Finally, in a third video, published on December 31, Zazou Youcef continues: “ Come face us. If you have something to say, we're here. We're going to fuck you, piss on you, we're going to rape you and then fuck your mother. » And he repeats: “SGet out of your rat nests. We're out there. “. Still facing the camera, sunglasses on his nose, he then accepts his words: “ They tell Zazou to call for a bullet. Yes I said it… Shoot them. Yes I said it well “. And he concludes: “ Long live Algeria “. This latest video has more than 300,000 views. Before his TikTok account was deleted, BV was able to see that in the comments, several Internet users encouraged and supported this influencer.

In addition to these incitements to violence, there was also a video on the influencer's TiKTok account in support of Nahel, the teenager shot dead in June 2023 after refusing to comply, as well as a video taking offense at the fundraiser launched in support of the police officer involved in this case.

On X, several personalities were outraged by the comments made by “Zazou Youcef”. Jean Messiha calls for pursuing this influencer for “ incitement to commit terrorist acts, incitement to hatred and high treason of France and the French people “. The RN deputy for Ain, Jérôme Buisson, agrees: “ This man threatens us all. Is he in ? Is anyone taking care of his case? » Others are calling on Bruno Retailleau, Minister of the Interior, to have this individual's TikTok account deleted and sanctions taken against him. In the middle of the afternoon on January 2, the main account of this influencer was finally deleted from TikTok. There is still another less populated profile online, which still brings together 21,000 subscribers, on which “Zazou Youcef” speaks in Arabic about football, about “ French nationality » and Algeria.
