When it comes to making an impression, mobile operators do not hesitate to position themselves as close as possible to the fateful €10/month mark to offer their packages at more than 100 GB, or even 200 GB. Lebara decided to move the linesand to offer a package with maximum data for €2 less than the competition. With this philosophy, the operator manages to offer us a data/price combo that is simply unbeatable.
Lebara goes on the offensive with this 250 GB package
Lebara offers a 250 GB package for only €7.99/month. Here, there is no question of settling for 4G. The operator does indeed offer 5G, and on the excellent SFR mobile network.
Without commitment, this package has the only compromise of not including MMS, which is almost unused today. Calls and SMS are unlimited.
When subscribing to the package, the SIM card is freeand Lebara even offers you 1 GB of additional data for the first month!
Only travelers might not find what they're looking for. To offer such an attractive price, Lebara had to scale back in terms of data available when roaming. So, you will only be entitled to 7 GB of data per month in the European Union and the French Overseas Territories. This is still quite sufficient for occasional use.
-Who can compete for such a price?
On the market, no one offers as much data as Lebara for such a low price. On the Prixtel side, we are getting closer. The operator’s “Oxygène” limited series is also priced at €7.99/month, and offers 5Gas well as unlimited calls, SMS and MMS. As with Lebara, this mobile subscription benefits from the SFR network.
Nevertheless, it only allows you to have 200 GB of data. To use 250 GB, you will have to pay an extra €6, thus increasing the monthly bill to €13.99!
CDiscount Mobile also tried its luck on the €7.99/month package segment. Here too, the arguments are numerous:
- 5G on the Bouygues Telecom mobile network,
- No-obligation package and SIM card for €1,
- 19 GB in the EU and the French Overseas Territories.
However, in terms of data, CDiscount Mobile also does less well than Lebara with 200 GB/month.
