Requeil had 1,210 inhabitants in 2016, compared to 1,108 in 2022. Saint-Jean-de-la-Motte sees its density decrease slightly after many years when its population increased. In 2022, the village had 955 inhabitants in 2022 compared to 960 in 2016.
