The transition to the year 2025 was not easy for the firefighters of Lannion (Côtes-d’Armor). These were mobilized for car fires in the Ker Uhel and Fontaines districts.
The departmental director of the National Police, divisional commissioner Arnaud Garnier, indicates that twelve vehicles were affected at least partially following two arson attacks committed a few minutes apart.
According to the prefecture, three or four vehicles
were set on fire and the flames spread propagated
to adjoining cars.
No arrests

An Internet user published a video of the intervention at Ker Uhel on the Facebook site “Tu es de Lannion si”, commenting: “Ker Uhel on fire. Several cars burned in the parking lot on rue d’Artois. Very sad night. Very sad area abandoned by the town hall. They could at least leave the street lights lit at night and put video surveillance cameras in the parking lots as well as in front of the college on the boulevard. »
