The latter in fact communicated: “her companion Lloyd Klein is saddened to announce the death of Jocelyne Wildenstein in Paris at the age of 79.”
Legends of the “cat woman”
The latter died following a pulmonary embolism in a Parisian palace, said her partner. She was known, among other things, for her multiple uses of cosmetic surgery which earned her the nickname “cat woman”. Various legends and rumors have circulated around the reasons for his interventions. Some say she wanted to look like a feline and spent millions to achieve this result.
-Born in 1940 in Lausanne, Jocelyne Wildenstein was the first wife of billionaire and art dealer Alec Wildenstein. She kept the name of her former husband from her marriage. His name was regularly cited as an example of dysmorphophobia, a disorder that causes the victim to see their body as being full of flaws. The diagnosis is, however, debated.
