What new project does the Duchess of Sussex have in store for 2025? To start the year, Meghan Markle made her return to Instagram with a new account and a teaser video with her feet in the sand…
Will 2025 be (finally) the year of success for Meghan Markle? The Duchess of Sussex believes it. Eight years after suspending her personal Instagram account, for a new royal life, the American is back on the social network this Wednesday, January 1. She finally activated the “@meghan” account that she had created and left empty since 2022.
For her very first post, relayed this Wednesday, the former actress appears running on the beach. Dressed all in white, barefoot, Meghan Markle tries to trace a “2025” in the sand before running off again, all smiles. A teaser video which could well have been filmed by her husband Prince Harry, on a beach in Santa Barbara, near their villa in Montecito.

What does the Duchess have in store for this New Year? Is she preparing to pick up her popular lifestyle blog “The Tig” where she left off in 2017, when she married Prince Harry? While pursuing her acting career, she made a name for herself as a fashion, beauty, travel and cooking blogger by bringing together a large community on Instagram.

She then opened the “Sussex Royal” account with her prince husband, before putting it aside when leaving the royal family in 2020, denouncing in passing the cyberharassment she has suffered since the start of her relationship with Harry.
Finally the light at the end of the tunnel for the Sussexes?
Meghan Markle therefore does not give up despite the failures and an ever-lowering popularity rating. Since they officially left the United Kingdom and their royal life in 2020, to settle in California, the Duchess and the Duke of Sussex have struggled to reinvent themselves and their projects struggle to find success, evidenced by the Prince Harry’s latest Netflix documentary on polo, released while the couple was at the heart of strong rumors of separation.

If their collaboration with Netflix still seems to be going strong, the Sussexes’ juicy contract with Spotify ended badly in 2023. Professional disappointments which are linked to the unpopularity of the couple since their break with the royal family. Even the health problems of Charles III and Kate Middleton will not have allowed the clan to mend their ways.
