Love in the presentby Irish director John Crowley (Brooklyn2015), is a romantic comedy made up of the small and big moments of a love story spanning ten years. Between Almut, a determined young chef, and Tobias, marketing manager for Weetabix cereals, there are nothing but the essentials: the first meeting, arguments, the introduction to the respective families, the marriage proposal, the birth, professional changes of direction… This column plays with the banality of life together, which constitutes an exercise in style in itself.
