In an interview with LCN, agri-food industry specialist at Dalhousie University Sylvain Charlebois confirmed that we should expect the cost of meat to continue to rise, and in some cases, he speaks of increases much higher than the average product.

“Bird flu complicates things. We hear a lot about bird flu in the United States. This could push prices up later in 2025,” says Mr. Charlebois.
