The first incident occurred during the match between the young people of USM Harrach and JS Bordj Menaiel. As the midday Adhan sounded, the referee made the decision to stop the match, thus allowing everyone to experience this spiritual moment. The match resumed after the call to prayer ended.
A similar gesture took place during the cadet category match, when the referee suspended play while listening to the afternoon Adhan. This respect for religious traditions was greatly appreciated, both by the players and the spectators.
This kind of gesture shows the importance of humility and respect for cultural and religious values in Algeria. The referee proved that it is possible to combine sporting professionalism and respect for religious beliefs, thus strengthening the spirit of unity and fraternity among young people.
