Here are the Nokia and HMD devices that will be updated to Android 15

HMD has started rolling out the Android 15 rollout starting with the HMD Pulse Pro, and the Android OS update is expected to come to other devices from the manufacturer. If you’re wondering if your device will get the update, HMD has reportedly released a list including both HMD-branded devices and Nokia-branded devices.

According to a post shared on X by @smash_60, the affected devices are as follows:

We cross-referenced this list with the software support information on each device’s product page, which mentions the number of operating system updates they will receive, and most of them check out. . However, HMD has not indicated on the product pages for the Crest and Crest Max devices how many operating system updates they will receive, and so it is not certain that they will be updated to Android 15. Both devices launched with Android 14.

The Android 15 update will be the final Android OS update for many of these devices such as the Nokia G42, Nokia G60, Nokia X30, Nokia XR21, HMD XR21 and HMD T21 (currently available on Amazon at price of $199.99). The others still have one more update to their operating system, namely Android 16, before their support ends. Android 16 is planned for the second quarter of 2025.

It is also interesting to note that the Nokia T21 is not on the list while the HMD T21, which is a rebadge of the Nokia T21, is. This is not the case with the Nokia XR21 and its twin, the HMD XR21. Indeed, the Nokia T21 launched with Android 12 and received only two OS updates, while the HMD T21 launched with Android 13 and was promised two OS updates. operating system. So while the Nokia T21 received its latest OS update in the form of Android 14, the HMD T21’s latest OS update is Android 15.
