Nowadays, obtaining the medal of honor for work in the large gold category, for more than 40 years of work, especially in the same company, has become a very rare thing. Indeed, these business models, like that of the Coursanne recipient Christophe Joulia in the metal carpentry and locksmith company Courcières de Narbonne, are initially family companies which continue and are very honorably known in the region.
Joining the company as a locksmith on October 28, 1983, Christophe Joulia is still in the job and has become a bit of a man to do all the impossible odds and ends, all types of welding, and also capable of repairing practically anything. A little before the end of the year, his boss solemnly presented him with his long service medal accompanied by a beautiful diploma and a decorated net as proof of the recognition of his company.
It’s a great reward that Christophe Joulia is very proud of, even if he will still have to work for a while before being able to enjoy a well-deserved retirement.
