The tragedy took place very early this Sunday morning. A road accident involving two vehicles left one dead and five injured, including three in an absolute emergency, reports Le Progrès. The events took place on the A7 motorway, near Feyzin (Rhône).

According to BFM , a vehicle with only the driver on board was driving in the wrong direction on the A7 when it hit a car with five occupants.

On the social network This is to allow law enforcement to intervene at the scene of the accident, make observations and then evacuate the vehicles involved. A diversion has been put in place via the D301 departmental road.

The closed portion of the A7 motorway reopened around 9:30 a.m., the same source reported and as shown by Bison futé. However, the prefecture recommends remaining cautious when approaching the sector.
