While the Wizards are going through a difficult season, there is still a little hope in the Capital with Bilal Coulibaly. The Frenchman continues to make a big impression, so much so that an old statement from Victor Wembanyama has resurfaced.
At the bottom of the Eastern Conference but more recent, the Wizards have picked up some interesting wins in recent weeks, including one against Nikola Jokic's Nuggets. The playoffs remain out of reach now, but Brian Keefe's men still want to show good things. And supporters remain hopeful with the draft.
Because if Washington gets the first pick back for next June, then this season will be very easy to digest in the end. A Cooper Flagg would be perfect alongside Alex Sarr and Bilal Coulibalybut you will still have to be patient for that. For now, fans prefer to focus on the present, with Coulibaly in great shape.
Bilal Coulibaly still praised at the Wizards
As we hoped since his draft in 2023, Coulibaly quickly found his bearings in NBAbut he reached a new milestone this season, perhaps helped by the Olympic Games with France. The result is there, with a real gap in its statistics for several weeks. No doubt, the future looks bright.

This says a lot about the campaign experienced by Coulibaly, who could even progress further in the coming months and delight the supporters.

Great things for Bilal Coulibaly, whose future looks bright in the NBA. His shooting difficulties are over, and the best is yet to come. Even the French team can rub their hands with this new generation.
