The issuance of residence permits to foreigners does exist in Senegal even if it is not generalized.
The CDC receives a deposit in its books called a “repatriation bond” and issues a receipt in return. This receipt is one of the documents required by the foreigners and travel document police for the issuance of the title in question.
After my appointment, I personally contacted and met with the Minister of the Interior for an increase in the said bond.
Our subsidiary Synapsys Conseils SA, which operates in digital technology, already had in its pipeline a project to generalize these cards by digitizing them…
We didn’t need to explicitly mention it in the project because it already exists. It is also the most recurring operation at the CDC.
The related work is in progress and the necessary will be done as soon as possible with the collaboration of the highest authorities.
