The de facto association “LDN” for “Lendemain De Noël” had summoned its 20 members to its ordinary general assembly.
Its members are former cadets and juniors and even the first team of Racing-Club Narbonne, who have remained friends and very attached to seeing each other again and to the Aude region. Of course, since the youth teams, everyone has taken their own path which often leads them outside of Narbonnais. For this 16 edition, practically all members were present and therefore the quorum was reached. Only the distinguished striker Renaud Balaguer, who now lives in Argentina, was absent but present in everyone's hearts.
At the request of the president Léo Griffoul (former professional player of Narbonne and Brive, currently coach of the Espoirs Elite of RC Narbonne) had asked his vice-president to send the summons.
Aurélien Sacaze (former pillar of the Narbonne juniors) had sent the registered letters. Opener of the RO Castelnaudary, Romain Marti, press officer of the association, enlightened us on the presents. Walid Batchali (3rd row of Castelnaudary Fédérale 1), Jules Martinez (left pillar of Nice Pro D2), Clément Estériola (hooker of Narbonne, Nationale), Bertrand Arthozoul (2nd row of Quillan-Limoux), Jordan Delpech (opener of Bessan) , Mathias Bastélica (Leucate coach) but also Rémy Serrano (former Languedoc Badminton champion and currently at Caen), Romain Serrano (CrossFit specialist in Narbonne), Geoffrey Slimane (Caraman R2 coach), Gauthier Marty (Ratpack triathlon in Lodève) and Michel and Pierre Delpey.
With a dress code
Two new members were present who were officially invested, the trainees Robin Salette, hooker of RO Castelnaudary and Guillaume Namy, center and captain of Leucate (Fédérale 2) and former professional at Brive and Narbonne.
The group received a very friendly visit from Marc Raynaud, the former international 3rd line of RC Narbonne. Marc Raynaud and Clément Estériola talked at length about the orange and black club.
The gathering began with a light aperitif at the famous Halles de Narbonne. Then it was an important day of reunion for these wonderful friends. The dress code for this 16th edition was a light blue hooded sweater with the acronym LDN 16, for 16th edition. Important all the same to be admitted into this brotherhood, you have to know how to have fun and not take yourself seriously.
