2024 was an important year for Peugeot which, after presenting the third generation of its 3008 SUV in the fall of 2023, introduced it to the market the following spring. The 7-seater version, Peugeot 5008, was presented in March 2024 before arriving in dealerships in the summer.
The Peugeot 408 also goes electric
Then, note thatat the Paris Motor Show in mid-October 2024, the Peugeot E-408, the 100% electric version of the crossover sedan, took its first crowd bath. However, its marketing will not take place until 2025. The E-408 will have an electric motor delivering a power of 210 hp powered by a battery with a capacity of 58.2 kWh useful. This allows Peugeot to announce 453 km of autonomy on the nice WLTP approval cycle, compared to only 416 km for the E-308. The latter has only 156 hp.
Peugeot consolidates its 3008 and 5008 range
The year 2025 will also be an opportunity for the Peugeot E-3008 and Peugeot E-5008 to enrich their respective ranges with the help of long-range versions which receive a useful 96.9 kWh battery instead of 73 kWh on the standard version, powering a 230 hp electric machine.
According to Peugeot, the respective ranges of the Peugeot E-3008 and Peugeot E-5008 “Long Range” will be 700 and 668 km according to the WLTP mixed cycle. At the top of the range will come the variants equipped with two 320 hp strong electric machines and de facto having all-wheel drive. Finally, the plug-in hybrid versions totaling 195 hp will play the role of the heart of the range and will attract the attention of businesses.
The Peugeot 308 goes through the restyling box
The third generation Peugeot 308 compact sedan which appeared on the market in September 2021 will undergo restyling in 2025. A cosmetic operation which will allow it to adopt the brand’s new luminous signature characterized by triple claws arranged in pairs. The stern will move much less.
The current Peugeot 308 is available in a 136 hp micro hybrid petrol version, in a 130 hp diesel, in a 195 hp plug-in hybrid and in a 100% electric 156 hp version, all available in sedan and station wagon versions, the restyled version will retain this roadmap. The Peugeot 308 in plug-in version should face a Renault Mégane E-Tech which will also be facelifted.
The Peugeot Landtrek pick-up evolves smoothly
Exotic vehicle, the Peugeot Landtrek pick-up which is not sold in Europe will also go on the operating tablea rapid intervention since the grille has subtly changed with logically the adoption of the new logo. The Peugeot 208 of the future will be advanced
