With the aim of strengthening bilateral relations and naval cooperation between India and Morocco, the Indian warship INS Tushil arrived in Casablanca yesterday, Friday, December 27.
The Indian warship’s visit aims to explore new avenues of cooperation between the navies of the two countries.
Over the past 12 months, three Indian Navy ships – Tabar, Tarkash and Sumedha – visited Casablanca, strengthening mutual trust and cooperation between the two countries.
This two-day visit to INS Tushil in Casablanca is very important. During this time, Tushil crew members will interact at a functional level with Royal Navy personnel and pay their respects to senior officials and guests.
Its objective is to strengthen naval cooperation, diplomatic relations and promote friendship between the two navies.
Following the visit, the navies of the two countries will conduct a passage exercise (PASSEX) at sea, which will contribute to cooperation and sharing of best practices.
