Inter-Como 2-0
INTERNAL REPORT CARDS
Sommer 6: In the first half only one save from Nico Paz. The second intervention is more complex, again on the Argentine, when he kicks from inside the area
Bisseck 6: Not a flawless performance, Nico Paz caused him a couple of skids, but he grit his teeth and remained standing. He plays for most of the match as a yellow card but never takes any risks.
(Dal 28’ s.t. De Vrij 6: Enters as right-hander in the final minutes).
Sticks 6.5: He does well as a central player, but his progression on the left is sorely lacking in the first half. Only one flaw on Cutrone, otherwise he is perfect.
Charles Augustus 7.5: Strefezza gives him a lot to do, leaves him no time to think and has to play under pressure. He waits for his moment and comes from a dead ball, when he cuts behind Dossena and pierces Reina. He also has the merit of taking a ball off Goldaniga's foot only to push it into the net. Match as best on the pitch.
Dumfries 5,5: After 33' of suffering, Inter put their heads out of the bag and the great opportunity to break the deadlock comes at their feet: Mkhitaryan serves him in the heart of the penalty area but the Dutchman coordinates poorly and shoots skyrocketing from height of the disk. When he doesn't have space to run, his game is often an impressive sum of technical errors, one after the other.
Stretcher 6: Two potential great opportunities, but first Lautaro and then Dimarco ignore him
(Dal 28’ s.t. Zielinski 6: Starts the action that leads to the 2-0 by Thuram)
Calhanoglu 6,5: He seems less present than usual but without the ball he works a lot. An evening more of a meeting person than a director.
Mkhitaryan 5,5: He gets a great chance from the edge of the area but he chews the shot and the ball goes slowly wide. The best thing about his game was the assist in the center of the area for Dumfries, otherwise the cage that Fabregas built around him suffered a lot. (From 44' st Frattesi: sv)
Dimarco 5,5: He “steals” a great chance from Barella when he decides not to let Carlos' cross flow: he controls and shoots, but it goes into Reina's mouth.
(Dal 35’ s.t. Buchanan: s.v.)
Thuram 7: He wedges himself into the area, skipping past Kempf, but at the moment of the conclusion he finds Dossena opposing him. He closes the match with a violent right hand that finds Reina's complicity.
Lautaro 5: He could send Barella towards goal with an easy touch but instead he lowers his head, hunches over and kicks at the defender. He loses all physical duels and is more on the ground than standing. So it's a problem. (Dal 44' st Taremi: sv)
S. Inzaghi 7: Keeps pace with Napoli and Atalanta and deservedly wins against a well-organised Como despite a defense remade at the last moment.
REPORT CARD COMO
Reina 5: He stretches out and saves Dimarco's shot without any problems. He can't do anything about Carlos Augusto's header, but on Thuram's second his reflexes are quite noticeable.
Goldani 7: He always comes out with courage and the right timing on Mkhitaryan and also always gags Lautaro. Excellent performance.
Dossena 5: He is greatly guilty of letting Carlos Augusto slip away when the Nerazzurri took the lead.
Kempf 6,5: Physicality and speed enough to stem many of Thuram's initiatives. He asks for a change and leaves the pitch exhausted.
(Dal 29’ s.t. Barba: s.v.)
Vin Der Brembt 6: He takes Dimarco's time and breaks away to head the ball, but the attempt doesn't cause any concern. He never suffers from the advances of the Nerazzurri winger.
Sergi Roberto 6: He practically acts as a director in the middle of the pitch, in the first half he manages to maintain a good rhythm, then he drops and is replaced.
(Dal 20’ s.t. Kone 5,5: Less nice to look at than Sergi Roberto, he brings muscular freshness, but also some carelessness).
Da Cunha 6.5: Tidy, excellent shield in front of the defense.
Fader 6,5: He has no fear of the all-physical, racing confrontation with Dumfries and in the end the duel with the Dutchman ends in a draw.
(Dal 43’ s.t. Cerri: s.v.)
Nico Paz 6.5: In the 26th minute he got his first shot, a right-footed shot from distance which, however, was a bit of a call for Sommer. In the non-possession phase he works a lot pressing Bisseck.
Strefezza 5.5: Inconsistent performance, he presses a lot, but the ball at his feet doesn't matter much.
(Dal 20’ s.t. Cutrone 6: He arrives early on Fadera's cross and gives Inter shivers with his head, but the shot ends up just wide.
Belotti 5: His initiatives are always stopped in their tracks.
(From 29' st Mazzitelli: sv)
C. Fabregas 6,5: His Como is an organized team, they close down all the spaces for Inter and also create a couple of dangerous opportunities.
