After a month and a half the Juventus returns to win in the league and he does so by storming the U-Power Stadium. In Monza everything happens in the first half, with goals from McKennie and Nico Gonzalez interspersed with a momentary equalizer from Brianza by Birindelli.

The Argentine is always the protagonist: in the 13th minute he heads the ball following a corner kick but Turati and Carboni oppose it. From the next shot from the flag Juventus breaks the deadlock, with McKennie to push the ball into the net on Koopmeiners' cross. An advantage that doesn't last long because in the 22nd minute Monza finds the equalizer: a well-orchestrated action by the Brianza team, a poisonous cross from Carboni for Birindelli who takes the time from Kalulu and quickly beats former player Di Gregorio. Juventus did not fall apart and took the lead again in the 39th minute. Nico Gonzalez scored this time who finds the right shot from a few steps up after a ball returned into the penalty area by Monza after a touch from Locatelli. Monza immediately tries to react with an insistent action, but Koopmeiners sacrifices himself and saves Di Gregorio's goal twice. The latter was called into action in the first minute of injury time with a shot from outside the area by Caprari, which was blocked without any major problems.

The second half begins with a substitution for Juventus, with Thuram taking the place of a bruised Koopmeiners. But it was Monza who became dangerous after two minutes with a restart started by Bondo and closed by Bianco who called Di Gregorio to dive from outside the area. Shortly afterwards Juventus responds with Yildiz who tries to surprise Turati with his left foot, but the Brianza goalkeeper is attentive and takes refuge in the corner. The Brianza goalkeeper also responds in the 55th minute, blocking a shot central but treacherous shot by Nico Gonzalez from outside the area.
Monza dangerous in the 70th minute with a ball well managed by Caprari who unloads D'Ambrosio who, from an inviting position, misses the target. Three minutes later Dany Mota tries after another well-constructed move from Monza, but the Portuguese shoots into the side net. In the 75th minute Juventus attacked again with a nice cross from Conceicao who caught Yildiz at the far post whose header was neutralized by Turati. Thuram also tries, in the 86th minute he takes off alone and looks for the corner from the edge, but the ball ends up wide. Monza dangerous again in the 88th minute with Izzo who triggers Bianco who tries to slide, but only finds the outside of the net. Juventus close to the third goal in full injury time with a good play by Yildiz who flies towards the goal, skips an opponent and lets loose a shot that Turati deflects into a corner kick.
