With this statement the Piedmontese climb to 31 points, while the team led by Alessandro Nesta remains on 10 and alone in last position.

First half
After just two minutes, there was immediate danger for Monza, when D'Ambrosio received a short ball from Turati in his small area but in attempting to return it he slammed it into Yildiz who missed the target due to a matter of centimeters. However, the hosts don't have a bad approach and in the 9th minute they scare the guests with Caprari, whose right-footed shot on the counter after a turnover by Nico Gonzalez ends up just wide. Three minutes later, Juventus came close to taking the lead with Nico, whose header from a corner was saved practically on the line simultaneously by Carboni and Turati. Not bad for the Old Lady, who on the following corner kick in the 13th minute went through thanks to a header from McKenniegood at anticipating everyone. However, the 0-1 lasted only nine turns of the clock. Yes, because in the 22nd minute the Brianza equalized with Birindelliwho scores a splendid volley goal making the most of Carboni's cross. Once Nesta's boys' goal has been banked, Madama tries to reorganize his ideas to regain the advantage. Advantage, the second of the Piedmontese match, which materializes in the 39th minute: McKennie's cross is fouled by the home defense, a bell tower rises in the Monza area put down by Locatelli, who favors the winning touch from Nico Gonzalezthe second consecutive seal after the one in the Italian Cup. The reaction of the locals was not long in coming and Koopmeiners' double sliding intervention was decisive for the Lombard team's conclusions. This is the last emotion of the first half, which ends at 2-1 in favor of the Bianconeri.
Second half
At the start of the second half Thuram immediately enters for Koopmeiners, not at 100%. Back and forth between Bianco and Yildiz, which challenge the two goalkeepers. Nico Gonzalez also forces Turati to dirty his gloves on two occasions. Juventus doesn't close the accounts and so Monza rightly continues to believe in it. Thiago Motta brings on Cambiaso for Nico, but his team continues to go through a positive moment, with many errors when turning the ball over, a great chance in the 70th minute for D'Ambrosio, who from an inviting position fails to hit the big target. Nesta plays the Ciurria card (Pedro Pereira out) and in the 72nd minute the one-two that leads Dany Mota to the conclusion, not precise, is worthy of note. Madama's reply lies in Yildiz's blow, rejected by Turati. The coaches resort to the last provisions available: in go Izzo, Maric, Sensi, Mbangula and Adzic. White's insertion is treacherous, as he shoots to the outside of the net. The red and whites are constantly on the offensive, while the Old Lady is called upon to resist. Yildiz's outburst allows his team to get their heads out of the sand. Despite suffering, Juve celebrates the three points.
