Milan and Juve can be “betrayed” by Max Allegri: new bench in Serie A for the Livorno coach who is increasingly ready for a return
Massimiliano Allegri he has been out of action since last May, after his dismissal from the Juve. His ten-year cycle in black and white ended in the worst possible way with eight (non-consecutive) seasons, all spent at the highest level. Last year there were two objectives: the Italian Cup and qualification for the Champions League, both achieved. However, it was clear that there was no feeling Cristiano Giuntoli which had already decided to change for this season.
Since that moment the Livorno coach has not yet found a valid project. He is spending a sabbatical like those of 2019 and 2020, when first Sarri and then Pirlo alternated at Juve. But it is clear that faced with a fair offer he will come back into play right away. Several Serie A clubs have thought about him as well as some from the Premier League. In the latter case it would be Max's first experience abroad.
Max Allegri “betrays” Milan and Juve? New club in Serie A, the announcement has been made
Furthermore, he would not disdain a call from the National. Perhaps this is the real reason that kept him away from accepting a project last June, when Spalletti was in the balance for a long time after the European Championship. Nothing to do, at least for now. He will return to some clubs and the hottest tracks seem to be in Serie A.
There have long been rumors of his arrival at Milanin case of exemption from Paulo Fonseca which is still in the balance today. With the Portuguese's departure, there are two main candidates for the Rossoneri bench: Allegri and Sarri. Provided that someone else doesn't do it first and manages to snatch the signature of the former Juve player, thus “betraying” the “Devil” who would be mouthing a sensational return of the coach of the penultimate scudetto. The coach, in fact, is finished in Roma's sights which can thus bring him back to Serie A starting from June.
Several journalists and former players close to the Giallorossi environment have spoken about it in recent weeks. Like for example Roberto Pruzzo: “Ghisolfi said that a coach who knows Serie A will be hired. And who better than Allegri? He certainly has experience in our championship“. Like the former striker, several insiders also agreed with this thought. Max has a great desire for redemption to prove that he is still valid and above all to try to get ahead of Giuntoli (and therefore Juve) in the standings: he took it as a personal challenge! Will his future really be at Roma?
