LAP 4/5 – After three polygons Preuss has the race in hand. With zero standing she would win. Behind is the surprising Frenchman Richard, in the company of Julia Simon. They are 30″ behind and will be joined by Lampic who is outpacing Voigt.

THE RACE HAS STARTED!
2.43pm Watch out for Simon, who yesterday was up to par on skis perhaps for the first time in the season. Today it's scary. However, the favorite is Braisaz, her pace yesterday was unsustainable for anyone not called Annamarja Lampic.
2.42pm Preuss, leader with a margin of 91 points in the general over Jeanmonnot, is not in top form after yesterday's effort. Who knows if she will be able to limit the damage, she who published a photo last night in which she was lying down, visibly tired from the sprint held in the afternoon.

LIVE LIVE OF THE MEN'S BIATHLON PURSUIT FROM 12.30 PM
Good morning friends of OA Sport and welcome to the LIVE LIVE of the pursuit from Annecy-Le Grand Bornand, the third “pursuit” of the 2024-2025 Biathlon World Cup season which promises sparks and balance until the last cartridge of the last shooting series.
After an anxious sprint, in which the big teams spared no mistakes, the pursuit has very few certainties! Justine Braisaz she showed off a remarkable performance on skis, which earned her her first victory of the season. The only one capable of remaining in the transalpine orbit was Franziska Preuss (+0:01).
If we can shuffle the cards, Annamarja will start the race in 3rd position Lampic (+0:14). The Slovenian, world medalist in cross-country skiing, will be able to try to take advantage in the floor series but above all by inflicting a pace that in the sprint was unsustainable for everyone. Standing sets may not be a strong point for the decorated athlete, so there's room.
After an 8 performance on the sprint report card, however Hannah Auchentaller (+0:44) here comes a chance to forge something even more precious. There's no point in hiding, with the zero and the pace shown yesterday the South Tyrolean would see the podium not too far away. Lampic's 3rd place is just 30″ away at the start, but the Ukrainian veteran is in the middle Jima (+0:19), Grotian (+0:20), Voigt (+0:23), Zuk (+0:38) and the always dangerous Simon a +0:38.
Samuela will also take part in the chase for Italy Comola (+0:58), as well as the surprising Martina Trabucchi (+1:19). Per Dorothea Wierer (20th at +1:03) the sky is the limit, we know this, however in this race the world champion's goal could also be a top6. As long as the problems with standing shooting are resolved, who knows, Dorothea might also aim for the podium.
