The second season of the TV series dedicated to the world of video games will take place: the announcement comes directly from Amazon.
Streaming platforms have become very interested in publishing in recent years content based on the world of video games: Netflixfor example, achieved great success with Arcanethe animated adaptation based on the universe of League of Legendswithout forgetting Castlevania, The Witcher or future projects like the TV series on Splinter Cell e Far Cry; the same goes for Prime Video which filled up with subscribers with the television adaptation of Fallout also awarded in the latest edition of the Game Awards.
The TV series based on the Bethesda saga has been renewed for a second season and will also have an excellent name in the cast, but while waiting to understand how the situation in the Wasteland will evolve after what happened in the first season, Prime subscribers Video will enjoy another content based on the world of video games that was officially renewed for another season.
We are clearly talking about Secret Levelthe anthology animated series that tells various episodic stories set in the world of famous video games such as Warhammer 40.000, Sifu, Dungeons & Dragons, PAC-MAN, Armored Core and many more; Amazon, given the success of the first season, has decided to renew it for a second season.
New gaming stories coming soon: Secret Level will have a second season
The first season, consisting of 15 episodes with a duration varying from 10 to 20 minutes each, it was launched for the first time on the Prime Video platform last December 10th with the first half made up of episodes from 1 to 8 and then subsequently with a second half made up of episodes from 9 to 15 the following December 17; Amazon, as soon as all the episodes have been released, loudly announced the renewal of the series for a second season.
For now, a release date has not yet been announced and we don’t even know if the new episodes are already in the pipeline or Amazon is still working on deciding which new gaming worlds to explore: from this point of view It’s really complicated to make a prediction given that during the first season episodes were produced inspired by very different video games and also quite unpredictable on the eve.
Even from the point of view of the cast there are many expectations regarding the second season of Secret Level, given that Amazon has not spared itself from this point of view by hiring actors of the caliber of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Keanu Reeves, Ariana Greenblatt, Gabriel Luna, Laura Bailey and many more.
