With the new year the catalog of Disney+ is enriched with a new title: it is about Paradisea drama TV series created by the creator of This Is Us Dan Fogelman. The show will debut on the well-known online streaming platform il January 28th: initially three episodes will be made available, then one will be released per week.

Based on the first previews, we know that it will be one drama series with elements thriller. The story takes place within a small elite of powerful and very influential people. When President Cal Bradford is found dead, a security agent named Xavier Collins is accused of the murder. The show’s subtitle (Paradise – Read between the lies) and the caption accompanying the launch post (“Everyone is living a perfect lie“) are rather evocative, suggesting that nothing is as it seems within that small and exclusive community.
Il cast is remarkable: in the protagonist role we find Sterling K. Brownwinner of two Emmys, a Golden Globe and a SAG Award for his roles in the well-known television series This Is Us e American Crime Story. At his side we will also see Julianne Nicholsonwho won the 2021 Emmy for Best Supporting Actress for the miniseries Murder in Easttowne James Marsdenknown for starring in the films of X-Men and in the TV series Westworld – Where anything goes.
