Liam Lawson will be Red Bull’s second official driver in the 2025 Formula 1 World Championship. The team has announced that the 22-year-old New Zealand driver will replace the Mexican Sergio Perez and join the Dutch Max Verstappen, world champion in 2024. Lawson is not a rookie absolute in Formula 1. In the last 2 seasons, he took part in some races at the wheel of Alpine. In the championship just concluded, he collected two ninth places as his best result.
